Why To Have A Dream

"Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day be; your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil." James Allen

When I was 15 years old, somebody asked me what my dream was. I became speechless as I had no clue what I really wanted to be. I was happy with my life and I thought I didn't need anything else from my life.

One day I saw a man bleeding on the street, crying and screaming for help. I had no idea what to do at that time. The closest hospital was too far from that place. I called some people and arranged a vehicle to let him to the nearby hospital. When we were so close, he took his last breathe and died before he was going to be treated. Then only I realized, if only I knew the answer, I wouldn't had to knock for another door. My dream began with it. Yes, I dreamt of becoming a doctor.

You also might have been wandering through dawn to dusk and dust to dawn in search of something you really want to discover. You might have faced similar kind of thing then the only question left might be, "How to know what my dream is?"

Always remember, you have something within you, something that really matters to you, to your family, organization, community, country or to the world. You have something great within you. Spend sometime alone, just go out, feel the wind, touch the rain, smell the rose and ask yourself what's your life for? Who are you? Why you exists here? Search for your inner voice, the voice of your soul, listen to your heart, ask your mind what is something that you are seeking for. It doesn't matter if you want to become a teacher or an army, or a nurse, or a doctor or an engineer or a pilot or a businessman or anything else, what really matters is you feel something from your heart which touches your soul and awakens your mind.

We all want to be the best at school or at college or at work, community, organization or even at our home. We all wants to make our parents proud. We can make them proud. We can make even our school, organization and community proud. We can improve our financial problems. We can develop our social skills and we can serve thousands of people and make them safe, healthy and happy. We can be a hope for thousands of people. The most importantly we can be free of all conflicts and confusions. Just a single dream can lead to somewhere, where we can be happy. So, why not to dream of something that will give us some kind of relief from our internal pain? Why not to choose between 'doing nothing and die' and 'doing something and live'? Why not to live our life in our terms rather than just gliding through everyday? Why not to make our life a happy, satisfactory and meaningful journey? Why not to have a dream that will change everything?

The Wright brothers dreamt of flying in the sky, so they became able to invent the world's first airplane.

Abraham Lincoln dreamt of becoming the president of USA and he succeeded.

Muhammad Ali dreamt of boxing and now if someone ask for the greatest athlete of all time in the world, then the answer comes as, "Not Michael Jordan, not Tiger Woods, not Babe Rath, only Muhammad Ali.

You can be the next Muhammad Ali. Dream something like when you'll be dying, you will look back on your life and will say, "Wow, it was a wonderful life."
