Be a Better You

Be a Better You
"Before becoming something else, be a good human being."
Those are my uncle's words.
Huh?
A good human being?
What does that really mean?
Well, everyone is questioning about that now and again but very few of us are really seeking out for the right answers.
This article will give you some ideas about it. If you like then please don't forget to share.

10 most important things to become a good human being:

FIRST THING: BE A BETTER YOU

Today when you walk down to the front of your room, just ask yourself that who you really are?

a) Be a better son or daughter:

 - What kind of son or daughter you want to be?
- Are you really making your parents proud?

I used to be very careless about my parents until I got resolution after college days. I realized that today who I am is just because of them. I have many reasons to live my life beautifully just because my parents sacrificed a lot for this. The parent's wish is always to give happiness to their child. When we grow we become busy with our daily works, we forget to call them for more than a week, and we don't spend much time with them. Think, how do they feel when they become the part of our ignorance? Of course we never wanted that to happen but also we never try to realize that they always wanted to be with us, always wanted a little appreciation of the time we spend with them, a few moments of happiness in a week by seeing you that you care. Nothing else.

No matter how much you are busy, just find some time in a day to show them that you really care, to tell them that you love them and to make them feel proud that you are something just because of them.

b) Be a better friend:

What kind of person you expect your friend should be?
Honest? Trusty? Lovable?
Your friends expect same from you. I remember I used to have a very poor friend circle during college days. Let me tell you few reasons why a friendship doesn't go for long time.

-  Not choosing the right one:

When we go to our fields, it's obvious that we meet people with their own life principles, rules and regulations. It's sure that most of them are not of our kind as everyone is unique and special here. So, take some time to know who is really of your type.

- Being more selfish:
- Not spending much time with them
- focusing on their negatives
- Not sharing things
- Breaking trusts
- Not supporting them during their bad times
- Not letting them in during your own

c) Be a good working associate:

I know you have many things to hold on your back. You have many responsibilities for your family, friends, and relatives and for the community of course. Do you just do your work at your office or you enjoy doing that? As Steve Jobs Said, "Do what you love and love what you do." If you don't enjoy your profession, you are surely going to ruin yourself first and then others. When you are working, if you look like all the boredom of the world or all the sadness of the world resides inside your head (I mean if you don't smile when you are working for a long time) or if you don't talk with your colleagues when you have to then you are surely going to end with disappointment and dissatisfaction. To be a good student or a good teacher or a good working associate, you need to interact effectively with your colleagues or coworkers. That will make a good bond between you and them and you will start loving your job.

d) Be a good social worker:

Here social worker doesn't mean you need to join some kind of organizations and serve the community (If you do then that's great). You can serve the community from outside also. As for example when you are moving down to the road, an accident occurred in front of you. You can either ignore or can help the victim to reach to the hospital. That's your choice. So, it's just about your way of living your life.
