TOP 10 BOOKS YOU MUST READ BEFORE DIE

1. THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE

In The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, author Stephen R. Covey presents a holistic, integrated, principle-centered approach for solving personal and professional problems. With penetrating insights and pointed anecdotes, Covey reveals a step-by-step pathway for living with fairness, integrity, service, and human dignity -- principles that give us the security to adapt to change and the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities that change creates.

2. HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE
This book definitely change your perception towards people around & also it teaches you a lot how you see & judge other. I'm not going to tell you any "Granny Story" here about book, you yourself read & come to know about it why I give it 5 star.
You can go after the job you want—and get it!
You can take the job you have—and improve it!
You can take any situation—and make it work for you!

3. THINK AND GROW RICH
I was looking through some of the reviews and see that some people gave it five stars and some gave it only one. I think if the people who gave it one star would practice the principles given in this book they would quickly upgrade their rating.

This book was published in 1937, during the Great Depression, and if the people who suffered during that time had read this book their lives might have been better.

It is really about convincing yourself to become wealthy. It outlines the steps you need to take and the steps you need to avoid.

4. THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING
A few people told me that that this was among the great self-improvement books. Not knowing anything about the book or author, I decided to read it. Because of the recommendations I had received, I was very surprised at how explicitly Christian the book is; I was expecting a secular "pull yourself up by your own bootstraps" kind of self-improvement book. Instead, the author focuses on prayer and involving God in every aspect of your life; and not just in one or two chapters, but all of them.

5. THE ALCHEMIST

This book has crossed the boundaries of books, and has taken a life of its own, creating a movement all around the globe.Reading this book always sets me back on the right path towards achieving the dreams I have put on hold. We always try to do what everyone expects of us like pursuing a career that you hate just because that is what everyone does. Recognizing my personal legend, being able to talk to the trees, sky, ants, the core of the earth, the air particles, and to my heart, feeling a deeper spiritual connection with everything/everyone that is around me, feeling God inside me, and not being afraid of failing or facing challenges are just some of the few things this book has given me.

6. RICH DAD POOR DAD

This book is not just about money. It's about how we are taught to think; how we are programmed by schools, family, and friends to look at the rich as greedy no good bloodsuckers and opportunities as risks. It is an attempt to reprogram minds to look at why we do what we do.. why do we buy all these shoes, clothes, cars, jewelry.
The book is great for people like me who think in pictures and in theory. He explains his financial theories clearly and adds diagrams to explain how money flows into and out of our wallets. I have read other financial self-help books and they were too detailed, too "do this...do that..." For me that didn't help or motivate me because, I don't do anything unless I want to do it. Other books never really gave me the why. They told me what I needed to correct.. but if I don't see anything wrong in what I am doing.. why should I take steps to correct it? This book broke down to me the whys. And now I am ready for action.

7. THE MONK WHO SOLD FERRARI
"The monk who sold his Ferrari" can be called as life-changing novel!
These kind of novels add essence to your life and gives you direction specially in the hard times. It gives you the answer to the questions like What is the purpose of life? How we can attain happiness and satisfaction? Nothing in it is Unknown to us yet it makes us notice that "Known"! It tells us to savor each moment with exuberance along with an aim in life.. It is our prerogative to lead a happy successful and rewarding life.
The novel tells the Vastness of India and the ancient techniques which our ancestors have been using since eternity which is the Secret of Life!
This novel made me realist the Mortality of Humans and how each day counts infact each moment and each thought!  It has transformed me and my life now is your turn.

7. CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL
I loved this collection of short-stories. They are inspirational, motivational, and beautifully written. Many made me cry, which is also very cathartic.

The real magic behind the Chicken Soup Series is knowing the effort that Jack Canfield put into the promotion of this book before it became popular. After being turned down 144 times, he persisted. He is a model of passionately pursuing your dreams until they are realized.

8. LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS
This weekend I finished reading a really good book by Nick Vujicic called Life Without Limits. He was born without arms or legs but is able to travel around the world speaking to audiences of all sizes about hope and faith. This book was such a positive and uplifting journey through his life that I'm sure I will come back to it again and again.

Throughout the book he uses examples from his own life and those he has come into contact with to show people how by changing your attitude, helping others and relying on your faith, you too can live a life without limits. The book is very easy to read and kept my interest from the beginning to the very end. Although he has physical limitations, he doesn't let that stop him from achieving his purpose and I feel that this can be applied to any area of my life that I am struggling in.

9. AWAKEN THE GIANT WITHIN
“Enjoy making decisions. You must know that in any moment a decision you make can change the course of your life forever: the very next person you stand behind in line or sit next to on an airplane, the very next phone call you make or receive, the very next movie you see or book you read or page you turn could be the one single thing that causes the floodgates to open, and all of the things that you’ve been waiting for to fall into place. If you really want your life to be passionate, you need to live with this attitude of expectancy.”

10. 365 WAYS TO CHANGE YOUR WORLD
One of my favorite book:
This book has lots of interesting ideas to make a better world, from tips to living a more Eco-friendly life to volunteering opportunities... It is mostly UK-centered, so some actions won't be relevant to people in other countries. Also, I wonder about some of the suggestions. I don't really see their point... But overall, it was a read that inspired me to do some things differently. I recommend it.
